CHARACTERISTICS OF A COMMUNITY LOCATION: a position or site occupied or available for occupancy or marked by some distinguishing feature. RIGHTS: a set of powers that give you a greater say over how your community develops . PRODUCTIVE ACTIVITY: a country's economic activity is usually classified into economic sectors, primary ( natural products such as agriculture, livestock, forestry, hunting, and fishing ), secondary ( processing of raw materials, such as food industry, electrical, or construction ), and tertiary ( or services sector, which includes all activities that do not produce a physical commodity, such as services, trade and transport ) COMMITMENTS: is the psychological bond between community members and their community . CULTURE: the beliefs, behaviors, objects, and other characteristics common to the members of a particular group or society .
